Daniel Defense DDM4A1 RII 5.56 NATO Rifle

The DDM4A1 RII is designed as a dependable, duty-ready AR-15–pattern rifle built around a fully ambidextrous lower, allowing operation of the bolt catch, safety selector, and magazine release from either side without shifting the firing hand. An ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle further supports seamless use by right- or left-handed shooters.

This model features the RIS II Picatinny quad rail, providing a rigid and proven mounting platform for lights, lasers, grips, and other accessories while maintaining strength under hard use. The rifle is centered on a 14.5-inch cold hammer forged government-profile barrel with a permanently attached flash suppressor, delivering durability, consistent performance, and a non-NFA overall barrel length.

The platform is finished with the Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip, each designed for stability, control, and improved handling. Together, these components create a refined and rugged rifle configured for reliability, accessory compatibility, and ambidextrous functionality in a wide range of shooting environments.
